Tarek ibn Ziyad Academy recently opened a second campus in Blaine as of September 2007. The Blaine campus of Tarek ibn Ziyad Academy will is located at around Hwy 65 and 121st Avenue. 

Applications are now being accepted for grades Kindergarten through Fourth grade.

Tarek ibn Ziyad Academy is a KG-8th Grade school in it’s fifth academic year in Inver Grove Heights and first year in Blaine.

Our students have achieved academic excellence by outperforming some of the best suburban districts in the statewide MCA test. Last year, the Education Commissioner visited our school to recognize our outstanding performance. Our ESL program was identified as one of the best and most innovative in Minnesota by the Department of Education. The Sponsor’s 3 year performance evaluation of our school found us to be a rigorous academic program and a strong guardian of public resources.

Due to our program successes, we have been asked to mentor 4 startup charter schools. Our school is being used as a replication model and is now the subject of academic research. Our administrators have been invited to speak at various educational seminars and have been nominated to serve on multiple academic councils.
